Rustic Apple Galette

1/2 portion Pie Crust recipe
4 Apples, peeled, cored and sliced thinly
1 teaspoon cinammon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon all-spice
1 tablespoon Calvados or Cognac
Juice and zest of 1/2 lemon
4 tablespoons butter, cubed
1/4 cup plus 1 tablespoon sugar
2 tablespoons APFlour
1 egg, beaten

Preheat oven to 400F/200C.
Toss sliced apples with cinammon, nutmeg, all-spice, calvados, lemon juice and zest.
Roll out pie crust onto flat surface. Mix flour and 1 tablespoon of sugar, then spread on the middle of the crust.
Lay apple mixture atop of the floured surface of the pie crust. Fold sides of crust over and around the apples. Brush the sides with the egg wash and then sprinkle granulated sugar on top. Finally, dot cubes of butter over apples.
Bake in oven for 15-20 minutes, removing once crust is golden brown. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
